2012 - Present

Writer and Editor

In 2012, I switched gears from corporate marketing to marketing writer.


We restarted life on a farm to raise our kids out of the city.


For 5 years, from 2016 to 2020, I served remotely as editor-in-chief of the ground-breaking martech site Martech Advisor (now owned by Ziff Davis as Spiceworks). I co-hosted 3 seasons of The Talking Stack podcast from 2018 to 2020, along with David Raab and Anand Thaker, where we analyzed the explosion of martech and CX. 

Since 2021, as a freelance content creator, I serve clients in France, Switzerland, England, the UK, Israel, and USA. I also run a blog called PolymathParenting, a resource for parents to help kids be more effective learners.

2000 - 2012

Corporate Marketing Executive

For over a decade, I held senior marketing positions, including as Digital Marketing Manager (India) for CPG giant Procter and Gamble (P&G), and as National Manager- Subscriber Marketing with satellite TV pioneer Tata Sky (now Tata Play). I started my career with advertising and direct marketing and I've been in the weeds with almost every aspect of marketing as it evolved in this century.


2007- 2008

Masters in Media and Communications (MSc) 

I took a one-year career sabbatical to earn a second Master's degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where I studied media and globalization.

1996 - 1998

Masters in Business Administration (MBA)

I earned a post-graduate degree in Management with a specialization in Marketing from the Institute of Management Development and Research (IMDR), Pune.
